Marge & Ed and Christine & Sid’s wonderful adventure

Marge and Ed Kuchynka and Christine and Sid Brown left chilly, six-degree Spokane, WA on Jan. 11 to fly to Phoenix, San Jose, and Costa Rica. They spent the night there, then drove to Quepos, where they stayed until Jan. 17 and the temperatures were in the 80-90's.

They fished three days. Sid, Marge and Ed each caught a marlin and a sailfish. Christine caught a Dorado and a Pacific Crevalle Jack and several Spanish Mackerel. Marge caught a Crevalle Jack and Mackerel. Sid and Ed each caught Mackerel and a rooster fish. The group was not permitted to keep any of the fish.

Christine said they toured Manuel Antonio Park and saw several monkeys, sloths, lizards, etc. They flew from Quepos back to San Jose on Jan. 17.

While in San Jose they went to two Central Markets where you could purchase anything you wanted. On Jan. 18 they flew back to Spokane. Christine says it was truly a wonderful outdoor adventure.
